STACK THE DECK IN YOUR FAVOUR: FIVE STEPS TO Powerful Presentations (G053)

Workshops > Complete List > Dynamic Presentations

WHY SHOULD YOU ATTEND?

Today, more than ever, people are using the presentation medium to communicate important information and get others behind their ideas. And yet, precious few have any training in how to organize and write a presentation or support it with visuals. The result? In many cases it's a presentation that falls short of meeting the speaker's aims or satisfying the needs and expectations of listeners.

During this highly interactive session, students learn how to harness strategic thinking, planning and writing skills to produce effective presentations. In particular, they learn how to pull together a presentation script quickly and create eye-pleasing visuals that reinforce important points.

Workshop leader Wendy Cherwinski shares tips, tools and techniques learned through many years of experience as well as an ongoing study of best practices. Students walk away with a manual that includes time saving templates, checklists and an extensive list of resources.

Anyone who writes, contributes to, manages or delivers presentations will benefit from attending Stack the Deck in Your Favour: Five Steps to Powerful Presentations.
